Surrounded by peasant builders, former President Jimmy Carter visits new homes being built by Habitat for Humanity (Colonia Herman Pomares, near the town of Chinandega), in Nicaragua with President Daniel Ortega and his companion Rosario Murillo . Jimmy Carter is on the Board of directors of "Habitat for Humanity" which builds housing for impoverished people in many countries.

Carter and Ortega completed one house by hammering in the last few nails in unison.
